Lanyou Technology Leg of the Guangzhou-Japan Economic and Trade Cooperation Roundtable Dialogue & Investment in Huadu Exchange Event

On 19th December, 2023,  the Lanyou Technology Leg of the Guangzhou-Japan Economic and Trade Cooperation Roundtable Dialogue & Investment in Huadu Exchange Event was held. Over 50 guests from the Consulate General of Japan in Guangzhou, the Japan External Trade Organization, and Japanese-funded enterprises in Guangzhou, including Itochu Guangzhou Ltd., Mitsui & Co. (Guangdong) Ltd., and Mizuho Bank(China) Co., Ltd. Guangzhou Branch, etc. learned about the business environmentof Huadu, Guangzhou, and the latest developments and achievements of automotive industry chain enterprises through on-site visits and exchanges.

In recent years, Huadu has been actively shaping new competitive advantages in adaptation totrends, and vigorously attracting and developing a number of leading enterprises with great development potential, advanced core technologies and astrong industry chain leading role with vehicles as the core, parts as apriority, and technological innovation as the foundation.

With the assistance and support of the Huadu District CPC Committee and Government, Lanyou Technology has focused on core businesses such as Intelligent manufacturing, MarTech, Smart IoV, Smart cabin, Smart driving, etc., based on over 21 years of experience in the automotive and internet industries, and its shared cloud technology platforms. Meanwhile, it covers more fields such as automotive R&D, auto finance, intelligent procurement, intelligent office, big data service, Artificial intelligence for IT operations, etc. Additionally, by covering the entire automotive value chain of "research, production, supply, marketing and sales, and IT service", it offers consulting services for automotive digital transformation and tailors clients the advanced solutions for automotive digital intelligence. Moreover, Lanyou Technology has formed long-term cooperation with over 60 vehicle companies, provided quality services to thousands of parts suppliers and automobile dealers, and jointly built industry ecology with a number of internet and digital businesses.

During the discussion and exchange session, relevant leaders of Huadu District further introduced Guangzhou Huadu (International) Automobile Industry Base, which is aprovincial-level economic development zone, a provincial-level high-techindustry development zone, and one of the three major headquarters economy cluster zones of Guangzhou, with its automobile manufacturing output value accounting for nearly one-third of the city’s total. In addition, Huadu District is deepening a new round of strategic cooperation with Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd., vigorously making leading enterprises such as Dongfeng Nissan largerand stronger, and creating a 250-billion-yuan-class innovation hub for ICVs inthe Greater Bay Area.

The organizer of the event stated at the meeting that the key enterprises such as LanyouTechnology visited by the guests were the most representative or promising industry leaders in Guangzhou Huadu (International) Automobile Industry Base.This event will help Guangzhou and Japan work together to cope with technological changes, new trends and new challenges in the global automotive industry, and also provide a deeper, broader and higher-level platform forfuture cooperation between Japanese-funded enterprises and Huadu. It is believed that through this event, both sides will make further exchanges, realize win-win cooperation, and deepen and strengthen mutual investment cooperation.

It is reported that the serial economic and trade cooperation event between Guangzhou and Japanese-funded enterprises has been held ten times successfully since 2013, and become an important platform for mutual practical cooperation, innovation and development, and also an epitome of Guangzhou’s dedication to serving foreign-funded enterprises and creating an international business environment. This event is jointly organized by the Guangzhou Municipal Commerce Bureau, the Consulate General of Japan in Guangzhou, the Huadu District Government, the Guangzhou Representative Office of the Japan External Trade Organization, andthe Japanese Chamber of Commerce in Guangzhou, and is held in Huadu for the first time in its series. It is also another case of close cooperation after the Tokyo session of the 9^th Guangzhou International Investment Conference and the Huadu Japan Investment Promotion Conference in April 2023.
