NNA SVP, DFL CFO James Cook and His Party make a visit to Lanyou Technology

In November, SVPs of Nissan North America Inc. (NNA) Ponz Pandikuthira, Christopher Reed and David Johnson, the head ofTechnology and IoV of NML Europe, the heads of the relevant business divisions of NML, and JamesCook, CFO of Dongfeng MotorCo., Ltd., etc. made a visit to Lanyou Technology to learn our businessdevelopment and latestachievements in creating advanced digitally intelligent solutions for theautomotive industry.


At the Lanyou Technology showroom, General Manager Hu Yongli warmly welcomedthe visiting guests, introduced the current status of our two core businesses –digital services and intelligent products, and presented our core capabilities focusedon the full valuechain of the automotiveindustry, including intelligent manufacturing, digital marketing, intelligentnetworking platforms, intelligent cockpits and intelligent driving,as well as our relevantqualifications, patents and technology talent teams. “Since the second half oflast year, we have also undertaken NML IS projects in hopes of delivering our products andsolutions globally,” said Hu.

When it came to the collaboration betweenLanyou Technologyand Dongfeng Nissan,Hu said, “Lanyou Technologyis a firm supporter of the implementation of Dongfeng Nissan’s digitalizationand intelligence business, and has a close cooperation mechanism with DongfengNissan’s IS, Technology Center and other divisions. Both sides work on an integrated operation model,where on the R&D side, Lanyou Technology is under the strategic and execution management of the Dongfeng Nissan TechnologyCenter; while on theexecution side, we establish a closely working joint project teamwithIS for rapid softwareiteration.” This model has enabled Lanyou Technology to gain localized capabilities andrespond quickly, and supported the implementation of Dongfeng Nissan’s fullvalue chain digitalization and intelligence projects.

The guests were then further informed of LanyouTechnology’s developments in MarTech, Smart IoV End-Cloud Integration, IntelligentManufacturing, User Experience Research and other business fields, efforts toexplore best practices and application achievements of the relevant latesttechnologies. Both sides also discussed new concepts and technologies emerging in thedevelopment and transformation of the automotive industry, and cooperationopportunities brought by technological innovation.

“The solutions and user experiences generated byLanyou are so impressive,” said the guests after experiencing LanyouTechnology’s self-developed intelligent driving achievements such as high-speed NOA, HPA memory parking, and automatic emergency braking (AEB). “Through your introduction, we have learned more about the Chineseautomotive consumer market and the application of relevant technologies. LanyouTechnology has many years of experience in automotive intelligence and providesthe industry with many impressive and innovative ideas.”

At the Japan Mobility Show that opened on October 25, Makoto Uchida, CEO of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. (NML), said in a mediainterview,“We view China as a unique core market, and arecommitted to gaining insights into changes in the Chinese market and meetingthe demand of Chinese users. NML will continue to invest in China and worktogether with Chinese partners to explore and identify countermeasures. We willleverage NML’s existing technological advantages in the fields of electricdrives and batteries to launch products more suited to the needs of Chineseconsumers and develop more consumer groups together with suppliers and otherupstream and downstream partners. To this end, we are discussing with localpartners in China how to align our current and future strategies.”

Since this April, senior executivesand regional leaders of NML, including CEO Makoto Uchida, have madevisits to Lanyou Technology many times. Through close communication in all business fields, both sideshave enhanced mutual understanding and trust and created a positive space forfurther mutual communication and cooperation in the future.
