“Connecting the World through Future Innovation” — Auto Digital Intelligent Innovation Conference 2021 held successfully

On May21, the “Connecting the World through Future Innovation ” Auto Digital Intelligent Innovation Conference 2021 with theme of “Digitalization, Connection and Intelligence”  opened in Huadu District, Guangzhou. Hu Yongli said in his speech “Connecting the world through future innovation—Automobile digital and intelligent innovation in the post-pandemic era” that, in this age of AI and IoE, connection was the foundation of everything. Fast-growing digital and intelligent technologies will leave plenty of room for imagination for the future automobile industry. Currently, the ongoing pandemic has posed new challenges to the global economy, and enterprises have more urgent demands for digitalization and intelligence.

Auto digital intelligence is the new development trend. In addition to emerging carmakers, technology, internet,real estate, household appliance and cell phone companies are involved successively, making market competition more intensive. The industry pattern will be restructured.

Hu Yongli put forward two core points in digital and intelligent innovation. First, digital transformation cannot be bought but realized through relentless efforts. An enterprise can achieve business and product digitalization only if it is able to control key points and core data itself in this process.

Second, digitalization talents who dare to change are the key. It can be found in the cases of Microsoft and Great Wall Motor that corporate executives may determine the success or failure of digital transformation. The organization and talents are internal drivers of digital transformation. Therefore, not only should an enterprise build its core competence, but also establish an organization and gather talents that dare to conducta self-targeted revolution.

During auto digital intelligence, data is the foundation. The goal is not to own data, but to let data create value.

The shift of the traditional automotive value chain to the design and development, and new practical models has become a trend. Such added value, especially the added value created in the shift to new practical models, is generated by data application directly or indirectly. Therefore, the transfer of value can be essentially regarded as the contest for data ownership and use rights.
