While China is strengthening network informatization, and accelerating upgrading it self from a manufacturer of quantity to one of quality, intelligent manufacturing is not only a current social hotspot, but also one of the most promising industries in the future.
In the automotive sector, transformation and upgrading is veering towards “intelligent manufacturing” – automotive manufacturing and products are becoming more intelligent, and automotive and intelligent mobility services are also under going accelerated innovation and transformation.
In this critical period, successful transformation and upgrading is especially urgent and important for carmakers and parts suppliersto make breakthroughs.
On December 9-10, the 10th International Automotive Industry 4.0 Summit was held grandly in Shanghai focused on the actual situation of transformation and upgrading of the global automotive industry, and shared market and policy environment changes of the automotive industry, intelligent factory, intelligent workshop, virtual reality technology, AI technology, digital twin technology, process reengineering, new powertrain manufacturing process, and other corporate practices, with focus on implementation plans of top-tier carmakers and parts suppliers.
Lanyou Technology attended the exhibition with its digital and intelligent manufacturing platform. Fu Haibin, Intelligent Manufacturing Digital Product Director of Lanyou Technology, attended the topical roundtable, and discussed the topic “Howshould carmakers rebuild competitiveness under the dual carbon policy” within telligent manufacturing leaders and experts from SAIC, Geely, Deloitte, etc.
Fu Haibin thought that the deep integration of information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) was the only way for carmakers to realize digitalization; in this process, they should not only consider for mulating standards and plans, but also develop implementation strategies based on their actual application value.
Digital green manufacturing is the megatrend of upgrading and transformation for carmakers. They should establish a unified industrial IoT platform in terms of technology and create their data assets interms of data, and also drive operational changes through applications to improve management efficiency.
To meet the policy requirements of “carbon neutrality”, Fu Haibin said that carmakers should focus on smart energy distribution and supply solutions that are based on the industrial IoT and strongly correlated to production scheduling at the production end, make planning in advance properly, and adjust supply timely and dynamically by sensing flows of production, people and goods in real time,so as to realize on-demand distribution.
At the consumption end, car makers should conduct process simulation and verification by such digital means as digital twin, improve vehicle R&D and manufacturing to reduce carbon emissions, and support vehicle and battery recycling and remanufacturing by providing data support to vehicles in use through the IoV.
Lanyou Technology has done pioneering work in the automotive industry for nearly 20 years. Based on its expertise in automotive manufacturing and internet thinking, it engaged in in-depth thinking and conducted effective practices in intelligent manufacturing.
Lanyou Technology’s panoramic intelligent manufacturing architecture is divided into the operation, management and field layers, and can realize leanline planning, process optimization, logistics strategy optimization, production strategy optimization, intelligent analysis of production data, production site optimization, real-time monitoring optimization, etc.
To achieve optimal results, Lanyou Technology has developed a host of intelligent manufacturing products, including the Lanyou enterprise BOM platform, P&O production and marketing coordination system, advanced planning and controlling (APS) system, LES intelligent logistics system, digital manufacturing execution system (MES), QMS whole-valuechain quality control system, IIoT platform based on cloud coordination, and intelligent manufacturing operation center to help customers build anintelligent, interconnected and green digital and intelligent manufacturing enterprise.
